Everything you need to know before getting started with WishPOS.

The Fiji Revenue and Customs Service (FRCS) requires all VAT-registered businesses to submit electronic fiscal invoices to their VMS TaxCore system in real-time. This means every sale must generate a digitally signed receipt with a QR verification code. Failure to comply can result in penalties. WishPOS handles this automatically through the FRCS Proxy Manager companion app.
Yes, for full FRCS-compliant operations. WishPOS handles your sales, inventory, and reporting, while FRCS Proxy Manager manages secure communication with the FRCS VMS TaxCore system using your business's FRCS digital certificate. Both are included under your WishPOS license subscription at no extra charge.
WishPOS runs on any Windows 10 or 11 PC or laptop. For a typical checkout setup, you'll want a barcode scanner (USB), a receipt printer (80mm thermal, ESC/POS compatible), and a cash drawer. A touchscreen is optional. The FRCS Proxy Manager can run on the same machine or a dedicated server PC on your local network.
WishPOS stores all data locally on the Windows device — sales, inventory, and customer data are always accessible even without internet. However, FRCS fiscal invoice submission requires internet connectivity to reach the FRCS TaxCore servers. If connectivity is lost, invoices are queued and automatically submitted when the connection is restored.
Licenses are activated online at first launch using your license key. Each license is tied to a specific terminal. If you need to transfer a license to a new computer, contact us at pos@wishtechgroup.com — we can deactivate the old device and reactivate on the new one. You can also manage your licenses through the license portal.
All software updates are included free with your active subscription. WishPOS checks for updates automatically on launch and notifies you when a new version is available. Updates are downloaded from the license server and installed with a single click — no manual download required. FRCS Proxy Manager updates are handled the same way.
